The individual will set up, conduct experiments and collect data which relates to cellular and molecular biology and perform small animal vascular surgery. Other duties include perform cell cultures, molecular biology assays and protein isolations. The incumbent will also oversee the maintenance of the lab; assist with recruitment, interviewing and hiring lab staff; organize training; provide oversight for student projects; and develop new procedures and protocols. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a setting employing similar techniques.
