Vice President, APAC Corporate Treasury
The ideal Treasury Vice President will may offer experience from a number different banking disciplines:
The Treasury Vice President could be from a Treasury Finance or Legal Entity Finance background with the experience and ability to work on challenging agendas with Front Office
The Treasury Vice President could be from Front office, possibly Funding, Rates, Fixed Income financing, REPO, Prime Brokerage and wanting to see the other side of managing the bank and be committed to change their career towards a role involving governance and policy
The Treasury Vice President could be from a Market Risk or Non Traded Market Risk background and wanting to be involved in managing broader aspects of the banks balance sheet
The main purpose for hiring a new Vice President in the Treasury Asia Pacific team is to support both the Asia Regional Treasury team and the Asset Liability Management /Fund Transfer Pricing regional head with driving the structural reform agenda for the region, driving the evolution of the Treasury governance framework around our countries/Legal Entities specifically focusing on Treasury Transfer Pricing and partnering with our country treasurers to help drive these regional initiatives and provide general support to the regional team heads.
The role will cover 14 locations and face off against a large number of internal stakeholders as well as interacting with our 34 key regulators. The role reports to the Co-head of the Regional Asia Treasury team and the Regional Head of Asset Liability Management /Fund Transfer.
The particular skill set(s) that would be deemed advantageous, though not mandatory are:
Ability to develop best in class governance framework for entities /countries
Experience of working in a large and complex legal entity structure
Understanding of banks with multiple securities trading businesses and the implications those businesses have on funding the balance sheet of the bank
Understanding and working knowledge of applicable regulatory rules and Basel III framework
Knowledge of Asia Pacific regulatory environment
