Position Description:
Morgan Stanley Co. LLC seeks Vice President, Delta One Distribution Group, Institutional Equity Division in New York, NY to utilize Morgan Stanley Blue Paper research products and the Firms' best practice ideas for long-term investments to devise long-term stock strategies, build and maintain strong US and European based client relationships, and expand into the North American market. Sell the Firm's research products and develop more commercial ways to communicate the research to clients, including hedge funds and long only institutions. Utilize Bloomberg to communicate with clients and analyze the market and specific securities. Record details on Client Tracker, a recording system relating to all hedge fund and institutional clients. Perform daily input of client transactions. Guide team in utilizing the system. Obtain all current and historical research products using Research Link. Utilize Communication, an inter-firm communicating tool, in order to cross-sell products to individuals across the bank. Organize all events, from conferences, to corporate road-shows, to calls with Asia, to marketing trips with research analysts, and register and track clients through the proprietary platform Event Manager. Work on Initial Public Offerings, spin offs, and deals, and utilize previous experience to ensure future deals run smoothly. Perform U.S. and European market and stock specific analysis and due diligence. Drive incremental revenue through idea generation at Specialist Sales Ideas Dinners through utilizing knowledge of bank products. Create strong relationships with CIOs and head traders at Hedge Funds and Long Only Institutions. Utilize Reuters, Event manager, Research page, Revenue runs, Deal Tracker, Sales GPS and iFlow.

Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience building and maintaining strong US and European based client relationships on behalf of a global financial services institution. Prior experience must include performing U.S. and European market and stock specific analysis and due diligence; utilizing Bloomberg to communicate with clients and analyze the market and specific securities; recording details on a client tracker system relating to hedge fund and institutional clients and inputting client transactions; working on Initial Public Offerings, spin offs, and deals; cross-selling equity research products to clients; organizing conferences and road shows, and ensuring that companies are able to identify the key decision makers at each fund and institution; communicating with key individuals in the market regarding the client's demands for specific financial products; and utilizing Reuters, Event manager, Research page, Revenue runs, Deal Tracker, Sales GPS and iFlow. Series 63 and either Series 7 or Series 17 licenses are required.
