This is an excellent opportunity with a leading Hong Kong based Investment House who are looking to add a VP Equity Analyst to there dynamic expanding team. This position will suit a high caliblre background from leading institution having covered oil gas and / or metals and mining sectors.
My client offers exceptional career potential as the team contnues to grow and expand throughout Asia. This is a great opportunity for a enthusiastic driven candidate who is looking for a platform where they can further their career with a team who are pioneers within the Natural Resources space.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in fundamental equity research with a strong focus across Natural resources, ideally Oil Gas and / or metals mining . The ideal candidates will have worked for a top tier institution in the natural resources team with a strong equity research background across Asia.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth of analysis of the natural resources equity market
- Work with a senior panel or board to decide on the next steps for the business
- Manage a team of analysts and ensure they are progressing to their desired levels by keeping them driven or motivated
- Be the newsbreaker for anything that happens in the finance sector locally, regionally and globally
- Key Requirements
- Graduate degree within Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business from a Tier-1 University
- A minimum of 8 years experience within a Equity Research Exceptional communication skills in English and
- Exceptional Quantitative and Qualitative Analytical capabilities
