The key responsibilities of this role will be:

 

Strategic Business Partnering:  Engage, partner with, and provide strategic finance support for senior business / go-to-market leaders.  Provide meaningful analytics and business recommendations to drive growth and enhance customer (internal and external) value proposition.   Understand and clearly articulate complex business issues.  Communicate and work effectively across all levels of the company, including regional branches, functional departments, and executive management team

 

Monitoring and Reporting:  Provide and manage accurate, timely, comprehensive, and consistent business monitoring, management reporting, and financial analyses for European region as well as global functions as assigned

 

Budgeting and Planning:  Provide and manage budgeting and planning activities, including monthly and quarterly reforecasting, for European region as well as global functions as assigned

 

Operational Effectiveness:  Identify and drive process and productivity improvements to enhance operational effectiveness

 

Controls and Risk Management:  Monitor control environment and adhere to risk management policies and procedures.  Provide and manage approvals of certain commitments, plans, reports, expenditures, accruals, and risks subject to delegation of authority.  As necessary, serve as a director or officer of regional legal entities responsible for corporate governance and oversight.

 

Global Management Information (MI):  Responsible for management information function.  Drive more efficient use of, and derive greater strategic value from, the business segment’s MI processes and assets globally

 

Global Functional Support:  Operate effectively within a matrix organization structure, influencing and providing local or regional market support to global functions, including liaising with or managing local or regional contacts as necessary (e.g., audit firms, regulatory authorities, outside advisors)
