Vice President/ Junior Director Strategy, Retail Banking
Our client is a leading UK retail bank, who are now looking for a VP strategy within their strategy group. It's one of the big names on the high street.
The role will focus on the formulation of corporate strategy for the bank, in both the UK and internationally. You can expect fantastic exposure to both COO and board level professionals as well as business operations, marketing, sales, and other business functions.
The role will focus on both the formulation of corporate strategy for the bank, as well as the execution of corporate development and mergers and acquisitions initiatives. It's a hands on role and you can expect to be fully involved in the shaping and development of the business.
Candidates may come from a broad range of background but you are likely to come from one or more of the following:
- strategy professionals with other retail banks
- strategy consultants with major strategy consulting firms
- you are likely to have at least 7/ 8 years experience
- candidates will have experience in either consumer banking, retail banking or consumer finance
