Our client is a top tier global asset management firm with a solid presence in Asia Pacific. They are currently looking to reinforce their operations team and are looking to hire a Unit Trust Operations Manager at VP level. As the Manager of a team of 10 to 15 Unit Trust Administrators, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the daily activities of your team members. You will oversee the unit trust operations such as the process of client instructions, the on-boarding of new clients and the checking of dealing instructions. It is part of your responsibility to motivate your team and maintain a high level of efficiency. Your role will involve ensuring that the day to day operations comply with requirements coming from the market and internal requirements. On an ad hoc basis, you will also act as a Change Manager to drive new business initiatives and help in the development of new products.
To be eligible for this position, the relevant candidate will have at least 6 years experience at a managerial level in fund operations, transfer agency or client services. Exposure to AML/KYC as well as new implementation projects will be highly regarded. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential as the position covers Taiwan market.
