SUMMARY: Travelers Collaboration Organization is seeking a Video Technology Engineer to join their team in Hartford, CT or St. Paul, MN. The successful candidate will manage the video technology products and services. Services include webcasting, video conferencing and telepresence, content delivery networks, video streaming and related infrastructure. Technologies from Cisco, Polycom, Adobe, Internap and others are integrated with Microsoft technologies to provide an improved collaborative experience for the Travelers teams and customers. Additionally, He/She will be accountable for researching and implementing new capabilities, retiring legacy systems, reporting data and integrating video technologies for efficiencies that will help achieve optimal collaboration. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING: - BS/BA degree preferred. - 2+ year video related experience preferred. - Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft products. - Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple requests from customers across the organization. - Effective communication skills. This individual will be interacting with all levels of the organization will be providing training to users at remote sites and presenting training material. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? - Manage and maintain the existing video products and services. - Research, design and implement new capabilities and integrate video technologies to advance collaboration. - Make decisions on multimedia technology integration working with various portfolio stakeholders.
