Kelly IT Resources is seeking a Voice Network Engineer(permanent opportunity). The Voice Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining network solutions to help meet company goals and industry standards. Is also responsible for implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting legacy an enterprise class IP data and voice network. Overview of Duties: 1. Analyze network information to determine, recommend and plan network troubleshooting to maximize network uptime. 2. Demonstrate high level of vendor management skills. 3. Provide technical leadership in all aspects of efficient network design and troubleshooting to maximize network uptime. 4. Document all changes to network configuration and procedures. 5. Maintain availability of the WAN/LAN using various monitoring tools and work with appropriate carrier/vendor when required. 6. Coordinate vendors to ensure all telephone moves, changes and repairs are made in a timely manner. 7. Implement and configure voice network solutions, which yield efficient, effective, supportable network designs appropriate for the client?s business in a cost-effective manner and fitting seamlessly into the overall network architecture and topology. 8. Generate reports provide supporting information for internal and external clients. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or Computer Sciences or related fields, Advanced Studies a plus. Must possess, or have the ability to quickly attain, Cisco CCNA or higher certification. Experience: 2+ years experience in IT with demonstrated experience in an enterprise class network environment. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to support Cisco Systems Call Manager and Call Center, Quality of Service (QoS), voice gateways, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
