VP / Director | Compliance | Hong Kong
A role as Compliance VP/Director – Compliance Employee Services with my client – a Tier-1 Investment Bank in Hong Kong, is available immediately.
The client is boosting its Compliance team, and looking out for an experienced candidate to join its team. The candidate will have a regional remit and will work closely with the team head, Head of Compliance, and other teams. It is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking for challenging job assignments and greater career exposure to join a leading bank with extensive presence across the globe.
My ideal candidate would have an excellent understanding of the compliance policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations appropriate to the financial services industry.
Other requirements for Compliance VP/Director include:
- University graduate
- Minimum of eight years experience working in Compliance, Registration, Regulatory, or Legal area
- Knowledge of the local regulations would be a plus
Day-to-day responsibilities for Compliance VP/Director include:
- Responsible for registration/licensing and related matters for all markets
- Managing a team of three, the person will coordinate and manage individual registration matters including applications, de-registrations,continuous professional training, and relevant and related reporting obligations
- Advising on the applicable regulatory requirements and doing business rules, processing registration application and improving registration work flow with regards to individual registration
- Provide advice to and liaise with local senior management on compliance.
