VP Oil & Gas Credit Risk Officer recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of credit applications, including new transactions, annual reviews, renewals, temporary extensions, and waivers and amendments.
• Liaison with Risk for all credit-related issues, including supporting relationship bankers with credit assessment, execution, closing and monitoring
• Covenant compliance monitoring, maintenance of credit and legal documentation files, and KYC rules
• Performance of periodic reviews, prepare watch lists, and present findings to senior management
• Co-ordinate with Middle Office Operations to ensure proper booking and ongoing loan servicing of all credit facilities
• Review of documentation for syndicated transactions and for trading lines requests
• Support senior staff, as required, with client presentations and other portfolio or client-related needs
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree with 7+ years credit analysis experience within energy lending
• Significant oil and gas lending experience, including reserve-based independents
• Credit training or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in establishing and monitoring derivative trading lines, especially commodity derivates, and ISDA a plus
