VP, Pre-Sales Consultant, Payments Specialist
An exciting opportunity for an experienced payments specialist - from a bank or payments firm - to join a successful, fast-growing payments provider.
Our client is an established, leading provider of International payments technology solutions to banks, payment processors and FX e-commerce firms. The company was founded in London and has doubled in size in the last few years. Now, the expansion continues with growth of their presence in North America.
This is a senior, VP-level role. You will be an integral part of the sales team in the Americas region - acting as a Pre-Sales Consultant / Payments Specialist in support of sales objectives.
This is an exciting phase of expansion for this firm. The company has recently won major customers in the region. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to play a key role in this growth including the reward of stock options as part of the compensation package.
Responsibilities will include:
- Act as business subject matter expert in payments solutions throughout the sales process
- Meet with banks, payment processors and other firms to understand and advise on their payments issues, e.g. regulatory concerns, costs, efficiency, technology and so on
- Present to clients or demonstrate solutions
- Create proposals including responding to RFI/RFPs
- Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.
Essential Requirements:
- Related experience within a payments firm OR payments within a bank
- Strong understanding of the payments market from a business perspective
- Understanding of payments technology
- Strong communication skills, presentations, written, verbal, etc
- Commercial skills / aptitude
- Dynamic, energetic, self-starter.
