Wealth Management Development Manager (VP) – Top-tier Private Bank
Responsibilities:
• Overall development lead having end-to-end responsibility for all technical aspects of a project, including development effort estimation, application design, coding standards, problem resolution etc
• Takes a key role in a projects whilst manages local and remote development teams
• Controls quality of application development by making sure the architecture and development guidelines/rules are followed
• Provides coaching/mentoring/assistance to development team members to ensure on time, high quality production deliverables
• Manages the knowledge base for the projects and IT solutions they work on
• Conducts design and code reviews
• Communicates project status, resource constraints, and open issues to the project manager on a timely manner
• Work together with project manager and/or business analysts to gather requirements from users
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• 8+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of large complex system environments
• 3+ years of experience in leading technical teams
• Strong development and technical skills on J2EE, Database, Web Application Development, Multithreading, Transactions, Security, Messaging technology
• Excellent design skills including good knowledge on design/modeling standards (UML, design patterns etc.), database design, application security such as authentication and access control
• Experience in designing/building/implementation of client information / client relationship management system
• Experience with Websphere Application Server, Websphere MQ, Oracle and Sun Solaris
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills
