Welder Job in Chagrin Falls 44023, Ohio US
Set Up Welder
Reporting to the 1st shift Supervisor, the Set Up Welder will set up and weld parts as appropriate
Responsibilities will include:
· Shielded metal arc welding, flux core welding, gas metal arc welding
· Weld set up parts
· Weld plate, sheet metal, pipe and bar stock
· Assure parts set up are dimensionally correct
· Prepare joints for welding
· Uses fixtures, air chipper, portable grinder
This position will also require employee to occasionally work assembling the final product for shipments to customers. The assignments will be made as the work load requires. In that capacity the ability to understand assembly drawings and the ability to Handle / move large components in a safe manner during the assembly process are required skills.
Educational /Training Requirements:
Ø HS Diploma or GED required
Ø Certification in welding processes a plus
Ø Must have at least 2 years previous experience
Ø Must be detail oriented
