Wind Turbine Field Technician Job in Co. Monaghan
In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking a wind Turbine Field Technician to join their prestigious team
Our Client:
Our client is a fast expanding wind turbine manufacturer developing state of the art multi KW turbines.
Wind Turbine Field Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Wind Turbine Product Manager, We currently have vacancies for Wind Turbine Technicians, to carry out operations, service and maintenance on our range of wind turbines 15 - 100KW. The work will include responding to turbine trips, fault investigation and repair, scheduled maintenance and major repairs.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Fulfilling the role as a wind turbine competent technician.
Installing and maintaining wind turbine test sites
Working within a small team to deliver the operation, service and maintenance work in accordance with company policy and to meet targets in quality or work, turbine performance and maintain good customer relationships
Being part of the RD team to develop a first in class product
Criteria for Wind Turbine Technician:
Candidates should be qualified to ONC or HNC level in a Electrical/Mechanical background,
Hold a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience;
Have in-depth knowledge and experience of safe systems of work; have demonstrable customer relationship building skills and possess strong decision making and problem solving skills.
Experience of wind turbine operation, maintenance, erection or commissioning would be advantageous.
The role will involve weekday and some weekend and evening on call cover and some UK and overseas travel as necessary to deliver the project
