The Judge Group is currently seeking a Windows Support Engineer for our client based in Attleboro, MA.
Full Time- Perm position
Responsibilities will include
Supporting customers in maintaining their day-to-day operations and managing a their customers infrastructures and growth.
Working with our sales team to recommend the best solution to a problem and verify software and hardware configurations.
Recommending new technologies that will improve the customers business processes.
Support the internal infrastructure in the same manner that our customers expect.
Monitoring and responding to customer alerts and calls in a timely and productive manner.
60% or more travel to customer sites within 100 miles from Attleboro.
Candidate must
be proficient in all current and recent versions of MS Windows (desktop and server)
be proficient in TCP/IP in LAN and WAN environments including layer 2 and layer 3 concepts.
have experience supporting end-users, both remotely via helpdesk and face-to-face
have experience implementing and supporting enterprise level firewall and VPN solutions.
be able to communicate clearly.
be able to document activities and processes clearly verbally and written.
be able to perform some heavy lifting and reach the top of a 6 rack.
Additional valuable skillsets would include
1. Microsoft certifications preferred
2. Cisco certification preferred
3. Server virtualization technologies (VMHyperV) a big plus.
4. Linux experience is also a plus.
