Responsibilities: Provide system administration, Information Assurance (IA), and systems engineering for mainly Windows-based systems in multiple highly classified facilities. Configure, install, and maintain mostly Windows computer systems in a stand-alone and networked environment. Participate in developing highly complex solutions for LAN and WAN environments. Independently identify and solve issues relating to IA (ensuring system availability, integrity, authentication and confidentiality). Configure, install, and maintain mostly Windows computer systems in a stand-alone and networked environment. Research, diagnose and resolve complex computer system software and hardware issues as they arise. Perform and analyze weekly security audits for nonstandard events. Implement backup solution and ensure a cohesive disaster recovery plan. Lock down Windows and some Linux computers in a mixed environment based upon classified security requirements. Manage user accounts for Windows/Unix/Linux systems, reset passwords, and perform annual computer recertification. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years Microsoft Windows systems administration experience, along with a minimum of 3 years IA experience ensuring system availability, integrity, authentication, and confidentiality. A minimum of 2 years information technology experience working in a classified computer facility in information, intelligence, or security areas. Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software (demonstrated by at least 3 years of practical experience). Some practical experience with programming / scripting languages (1 year experience). Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with managers and technical staff. Desired Qualifications: Current SSBI strongly preferred. Experience working in or directly supporting the Department of Defense or other U.S. government entities desired. Microsoft Windows certification. Some Linux/Unix computer experience (1 year practical experience desired). Experience with VMware or other virtualization software. Working familiarity with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) or Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) security requirements. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, and the understanding of customer focus. Security Requirements: TS/SCI Clearance w/ Full Scope Poly is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for an SSBI and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship. Special Working Conditions: Will be working in a closed environment; extended hours periodically required; valid state driver's license required; minimal (1-2 weeks per year) local and out of area travel may be required.
