£100k – Java / FX Technical Lead – Greenfield FX Trading Programme

There is a new role with an Investment Bank in London looking for a Java Technical Lead to join a greenfield FX Trading programme.
The programme is to design and implement a greenfield FX Trading system from scratch, before migrating all existing business onto the new platform. The bank offer an environment based on rapid progression, extensive business interaction and a flat, challenging structure.
You will be responsible for the technical leadership of five developers in a 100% hands-on capacity, including front-to-back design and development of greenfield FX Trading Applications, in a highly business/quant facing role.
You must have the following skills/experience to be considered for this role:
Essential:
- Expert Software Development background
- Expert knowledge of Server-Side Java programming including complex development practices
- Strong FX product knowledge
- Extensive background in Front Office Trading environments
Desirable:
- Java Swing programming experience
- e-Trading knowledge
