12 Month Contractor with Front Office Sophis Application Support Analyst recruitment
City based Investment Bank seek a 12 Month Contractor with Front Office Sophis Application Support Analyst which is used by the Equity and Fund Derivatives and Commodities business area. Primarily support of Sophis Risque - portfolio position risk management system, GL Trade, Fidessa and UL Bridge electronic trading platforms and extending to all related technical components. This role is for a Senior Sophis Specialist with commercial Sophis experience and Sophis Risque application knowledge with Equity Derivatives and Commodities business skills. You will have a good understanding of business workflow from Front Office to Back Office. Desirable skills are Oracle, PL-SQL and SQL, Unix, MS Windows, Citrix, MS Excel, VB, VBA, Perl, Ksh., Sophis, GL Win, UL Bridge, Reuters and Bloomberg, GL Trade – GL Win application knowledge, Fidessa application knowledge with UL Bridge system knowledge. As the front line support desk for an active trading unit, the ability to work under pressure and find quick solutions to resolve problems is essential.
