12 month – Senior Dealer, Interest Rate Risk Management recruitment
Bankwest Markets is a wholly owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia and provides risk management services to a broad range of clients in Bankwest Business.
Role Purpose:
The Bankwest Markets team is looking for an experienced interest rate dealer to cover a 12 month maternity leave contract. Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for marketing interest rate risk management products to clients of Bankwest Business in NSW.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop key relationships with internal stakeholders
- Maintain regular contact with a portfolio of higher value clients
- Attendance at weekly sales meetings with lending teams
- Participation in portfolio reviews with other Specialist Sales teams (eg. Asset Finance, MMI, Trade Finance)
- Run education programmes for lending teams
- Prepare commentaries for lenders and clients
- Maintain a regular client visitation programme
- Identify opportunities from 'back-book'
- Assist other colleagues as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position with focus on interest rate risk management.
- AFMA accreditation is essential.
