1200067: Material Review/Investigation
Performs qualitative and/or quantitative tests or evaluations of products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems to support company quality requirements. Improves design, production, process, test, or validation methods by utilizing computer-aided design tools and analysis. Supports design and product reviews. Interfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. Collects, interprets, and evaluates the data relative to engineering or project requirements. Produces test and performance reports. Determines and records material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, equipment and modified CAD/CAM data. Calibrates, certifies, and maintains equipment used in the testing and analysis of products, raw materials, in-process materials, or other samples. Assists in determining root cause and supports recommendations for the implementation of corrective actions necessary to reduce or eliminate product or process noncomformance. Ensures configuration management of processes. Develops statistical process improvement procedures.
