About the Job

Analyze vulnerability reports using tools, processes, and techniques designed to provide fact-based analysis to other stakeholders in the vulnerability disclosure process.
Research, specify, and develop new tools, processes and techniques to improve vulnerability analysis methodology and to support interaction with stakeholders.
Write and publish short to medium-length documents describing vulnerability mitigation strategies and root-cause analyses.
Lead formal presentations of security and compliance status and issues regularly to European IT teams and management, including a meeting, at least quarterly, with ITLT members or their delegates to relay status and issues.

Five+ years of progressive experience in computing and information security, including experience with Internet technology and security issues
Internet commerce or corporate information security experience preferred.
CISSP or other security certification/accreditation desirable
Knowledge of the TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSH, SSL protocols and how they work.
Experience using vulnerability testing tools.
Experience with web application firewalls and filters.
Must have a solid understanding of information technology and information security.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create collaborative relationships with colleagues
Have an interest in and have extensive knowledge of network and computer security issues
Working knowledge of a broad range of relevant platforms (Cisco, Windows, SAP, MS-SQL) and Internetworking technologies desirable.
Willingness to do hands-on, highly technical work

Must be self-motivated and a strong technical leader in the analysis, coordination, and remediation of software vulnerabilities.
