1st / 2nd year associates – special situations fund recruitment
The firm focuses on investments backed by realizable assets to SMEs in Europe who lack access to traditional capital sources.
The firm is looking for two 1st / 2nd-year level investment associates to assist with significant deal flow that the fund is seeing in the market. The positions are both for generalists who will work alongside the fund’s senior investment professionals and will be responsible for both evaluating and executing potential transactions, including:
- Screening new investments
- Financial modeling and analysis
- Assisting in and overseeing all aspects of the due diligence process
- All aspects of the investment process
- Working with borrowers / JV partners
Candidates should have the following attributes, including:
- 3 – 5 years of experience
- Strong numerical, financial analysis and proven modeling skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- UK or European transaction experience gained in one or more of the following: investment banking (MA, leveraged finance or financial sponsors), transaction services or private equity
- English – fluent; German – a must for one of the positions
Compensation, including salary / discretionary bonus, will be competitive. Firm is looking for candidates to start at May / June 2012.
