MEMC has an opening for an I/E Technician at its Pasadena, TX facility, located on the Houston Ship Channel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Instrument and Electrical support in maintenance and repair of critical plant production instruments.
Position Description:
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Willingness to work on up to 480 V electrical systems
· Willingness to work overtime and carry a pager for call-outs
· Must work independently with strong trouble shooting skills
Basic Qualifications Required:
- Requires use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel)
Qualifications Desired:
- I/E Certification or Associate’s degree in Electronics or Instrumentation
- ISA CCST Certification Level II or III strongly desired or NICET Level III or IV Certification strongly desired
· 5 years applicable work experience in chemical plants or oil refineries
