1st Year Apprentice Bricklayer Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia
Our client, a thriving housing construction company, based in the Western suburbs (Williamstown) is seeking a first year apprentice bricklayer.

This position will suit a school leaver who is looking to enter the trade by obtaining an apprenticeship which will offer you a qualification at the end of your training in your chosen career path.

To be considered for the position you must have a strong desire to take on this trade as a team player and be committed to the apprenticeship requirements. A current driver's licence is essential.
Duties include:
* Laying Bricks
* Mixing mortar
* Dispersing mortar onto mortar boards.
* Loading up bricks in correct brick stacks.
* General site clean.
* Cleaning and putting away of tools.
* Outdoor physical work
* Heavy lifting
* Be reliable, display initiative, be willing to learn and enthusiastic
* Energetic and physically fit
* Have a current driver’s license
In return you will receive accredited training, delivered on the job and through TAFE with nationally recognised certificate awarded on successful completion.
