2 x Associate, Loan Underwriting
Due to a recent pick up in market activity a need has arisen for two further hires into a growing loan underwriting team in London. Main responsibilities will include working on newly acquired distressed real estate assets and loans. These range from both residential and commercial real estate across the UK and Ireland.
Day to day duties will include building advanced cash flow models of loans and direct real estate investments. Oversee the credit analysis process on borrowers and tenants for new transactions and conduct due diligence on loans and their underlying documentation. Performing loan valuations and formulate business plans to support investment pricing and assist in the preparation of presentations for the investment committee.
The ideal candidate will currently be working in an investment bank, private equity firm or asset manager covering real estate. Experience with loan underwriting in the real estate sector would be hugely beneficial however our client will consider exceptionally strong candidates with cash flow modeling skills and a structured credit background. An additional European language would be deemed advantageous.
