2 x C## .Net Developers / Technical Consultants – Commodity Trading
OVERVIEW:
My client is the Global market leader in Energy / Commodity Trading Risk Management software consulting with a track record of implementing their ETRM / CTRM software on-site at the World’s leading Oil Gas Super Majors, Utilities, Commodity Trading Houses and Investment Banks.
Working across all the major Commodities, including Oil Products, Gas, LNG, Coal, Power, Metals, Emissions and Softs, my client has 2 core Trading Risk Management systems that they implement at clients.
These Technical Consultants don’t need any prior Reading Risk Management experience, although it would be helpful but you will need to be an experienced C# .Net Developer, who is keen to move into Commodity Trading development.

BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3-5 years of .Net, C# development life-cycle experience, and a proven track record of designing, coding, and delivering applications at client sites
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server
- Ideally previous technology development experience at a software/consulting company
- Preferably previous Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management system experience as a Developer or Business Analyst
- Strong academics, ideally inclusive of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Preferably have industry knowledge of commodities such as Crude Oil, Refined Products, NGL’s and/or Coal
- EU passport holder, allowing you to live, travel and work in the UK and other European countries without any restrictions
