2 x ETRM European Gas & Power Business Analysts – Oil & Gas Super Major
The successful Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) Business Analysts will have gained considerable European Gas Power Trading experience/knowledge working for either another energy major, commodity trading house, ETRM software vendor or management consultancy, including:
- Products: fundamental understanding of physical and financial (including derivatives) Gas Power instruments and how they are settled
- Deal Execution: functional knowledge of how instruments are electronically traded via brokers / exchanges
- Risk Management: understanding of how metric such as MTM, VaR, PL and exposure are derived
There are 2 live ETRM Business Analyst roles:
- Business focused Business Analyst
- Technical focused Business Analyst (SQL, VBA, C#, STP technologies)
The successful Business Analysts will have gained extensive ETRM system knowledge of one of the major ETRM systems (Endur, Zai*Net / Aligne, Allegro, CXL, Pomax, enTrader etc), ideally including excellent report writing skills and functional knowledge / VaR.
This role is based 100% of the time in my client’s prestigious, Central London office, so is ideal for Business Analysts looking to cut down travel and for Business Analysts looking to develop a long term career with one of the biggest and most prestigious blue chip firms on the planet. My client prides itself on their reputation for professionalism, retention of staff and staff development (including training, sponsoring MBAs etc).
Salary: £50-60k basic + excellent benefits + 15% bonus
