2 x Fund Accountants – Private Equity recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Preparing quarterly private equity fund financial statements and account statements
- Preparing monthly management accounts for corporate entities
- Reviewing book-keeping postings in individual fund ledgers
- Preparing accounts for investment holding companies
- Coordinating and liaising with the firm's auditors, as well as other external auditors
- Dealing with ad hoc auditor and investor enquiries
- Dealing with other accounting matters as directed by others
Skills and Experience
- Qualified accountant – ACA or ACCA or similar
- Proven experience of private equity fund accounting – either from an audit perspective or from within a private equity fund environment or
- Strong Management Accountants who have previously worked in-house in a Private Equity fund/ third party administrator
- Flexibility to travel to Guernsey (2-3 days a month)
- Motivated self-starter with good communication skills
- A team player with a flexible approach to working
- Good timekeeping skills are essential as you will often be working to tight deadlines
Successful candidates must have proven legal rights to work in the UK. You will also need to be immediately available or on a maximum of 1 week's notice period.
