2 x Oracle OR MSSQL Technical Consultants – Energy Trading Firm – London recruitment
Based out of their prestigious London City offices, you’ll join a World leading firm working with most of the largest and blue chip investment banks and commodity trading houses in the UK and Northern Europe.
My client are growing fast and consequently seek 2 x Technical Consultants to interface with their Clients’ business technical representatives. The role will include requirements capture, analysis and design of technical solutions based upon my client’s bespoke ETRM software. Flexibility and desire for European travel are essential.
BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
• A good degree in a numerate discipline
- Good conceptual knowledge of either Oracle or MSSQL databases
- Knowledge of SQL
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Preferably some development experience (C/C++/C#/Java).
- Working knowledge of front, middle and back office operations in a banking or Energy/Commodity environment preferable.
- Excellent communication, written and team skills.
- Enthusiastic and self motivated, with the ability to work alone.
- Adaptable to working with different clients and cultures in locations across the UK and Continental Europe
- Permission to live and work in the UK
