The following are job descriptions for entry level engineers: Chemical Engineer Production Engineer - Focus on day-to-day operation and optimization of an existing unit; Identify and implement improvements to plant safety, environmental and profitability performance. Process Engineer - Evaluate and develop major projects and debottlenecks; Serve as a technical resource for the corporation; Develop and improve systems to maintain excellent process safety and environmental performance. Control System Engineer - Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot control schemes; Develop and troubleshoot process models used in predictive control schemes. Research and Development Engineer - Provide technical support to our polyolefin customers through visits and internal or external fabrication trials. This position requires 25-30% travel. Project Engineer - Lead a multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to develop and implement large projects; Manage all aspects of a project; Monitor activities to ensure they meet the project goals and adhere to company standards. Electrical Engineer Control System Engineer - Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot control schemes; Develop and troubleshoot process models used in predictive control schemes. Instrument Electrical Engineering - Troubleshoot, engineer, implement, and/or improve process measurement instrumentation, control systems, safety systems, analyzers; Provide daily technical IE or Control Systems support. High Voltage Engineer - Work with electrical technicians to troubleshoot problems and perform equipment repairs; Continually evaluate the electrical system and plan for expansion and reliability improvements. Corporate Electrical Engineer - Provide electrical consultation for global manufacturing; Develop and implement standards to maintain a consistent corporate philosophy on electrical systems; Maintain long-term plan for equipment replacements and upgrades. Project Engineer - Lead a multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to develop and implement large projects; Manage all aspects of a project; Monitor activities to ensure they meet the project goals and adhere to company standards. Environmental Engineer Perform assignments affecting key site-wide environmental compliance programs; Assist in the development of action plans for timely, cost effective compliance; Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports, such as emission inventory, and other state and federal required reports; Participate in Management of Change process; Review compliance status and participate in field audits. Mechanical Engineer Reliability Engineer - Proactively support the development and implementation of ideas to improve plant reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Specialty Engineer - Provide corporate level technical engineering support to plant engineering and capital project groups; Develop standards for mechanical equipment; Implement long-range reliability improvement programs. Maintenance Engineer - Provide daily engineering support and technical assistance on repairs to plant equipment, ensuring projects comply with health, safety and environmental requirements. Research and Development Engineer - Provide technical support to our polyolefin customers through customer visits and internal or external fabrication trials. This position requires 25-30% travel.
