JPMorgan Chase Finance Analyst Development Program The Finance organization provides an ideal opportunity for you to gain a broad understanding of financial services. Analysts in Finance will support corporate and line of business functions through comprehensive data analysis and reporting. Program overview You will have 2 one year rotations within Finance. Placements are based on our business need and your interest. The program provides participants with a broad understanding of the financial practices of JPMorgan Chase. Roles and responsibilities include: Managing the firm's financial position through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing results for JPMorgan Chase's businesses Providing client-driven perspectives on performance, strategy, and operating models Producing financial statements, reporting results, and working with regulators Work with finance technology to establish standard operations that are integrated across businesses, functions, legal entities and regions Placements can be in one of our major business lines, such as the Investment Bank, Asset Management, Retail, the Commercial Bank, and Treasury Securities Services, or in a corporate function such as Corporate Planning and Analysis, Corporate Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Controllers, and Global Finance Operations. Our hiring locations are in the New York metro area, including New York, NY, Jersey City, NJ ; Garden City; NY; and Iselin, NJ . Assignments Full time analysts can expect to: Prepare financial spreadsheets, budgets, and forecasts Develop their analytical skills by gathering, consolidating, and analyzing financial data Sharpen problem-solving skills through "hands-on" experience in analyzing and reporting product and project profitability and return on investment Assist in the management of the firm's general ledger, disbursements, and other financial operations Attend program events such as professional skills training, a speaker series with senior level Finance managers, and other networking events.
