Your internship will include interaction with other interns, experts in your area of study, and Meijer senior leadership. Our Loss Prevention team is responsible for corporate security, fraud investigation, fire prevention, safety, and emergency response. The intern will get exposure to a variety of activities within corporate and field Loss Prevention operations, with primary focus on the development of a relevant, practical and meaningful security awareness program designed to proactively deter deviant behavior within the Supply Chain. Learning opportunities will include: · Exposure to a Fraud Risk Assessment, which will be conducted for this business unit · Understanding of the distribution and logistics business units · Understanding of deviant behavior within this work environment · Exposure to security technology and strategy
