2:1/1st class Computer Science Graduate Software Developer – £35-42k Basic – Commodity Trading House
The successful applicant will have a 2:1, 1st class (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science (or equivalent IT degree) form a top 20 UK or equivalent Global university. Further Masters or other postgraduate degree in IT would also be beneficial but not essential. There is no flexibility on the academics, as my client wants a very bright and articulate candidate who they can train, develop and fast track up the company’s IT department.
You will specialise in software development so any prior programming commercial and/or academic experience using object orientated programming languages (C#, J2EE, WDB etc) is very beneficial. So you could have gained post graduate IT experience or had a placement year whilst at university in an IT department (IT in software development)
This is a London based role, although my client are the asset backed commodity trading arm of an oil gas super major so there are lots of opportunities for international secondments across the Globe if you’re successful as well.
