The Role
To manage electronic and voice client orders across a wide range of assets using Marex Spectron’s full suite of electronic trading tools and through FIX, HFT and Algorithmic trading.
Please note, the desk works on shift basis and successful candidates will be required to work day and night shifts on a rotation program.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute electronic and voice orders for institutional clients across asset classes
- Actively manage algorithmic trading orders to ensure best execution
- Report on client activity across the DMA space, incorporating 3 party applications for High Frequency Trading (HFT) and algorithmic trading
- Provide market commentary
Essential:
- In depth knowledge of electronic trading systems and algorithmic order execution
- Comprehensive knowledge of Futures and Options execution across asset classes
- Ability to help produce morning notes and comment on key macro / micro themes across the financial market spectrum
- MS Office Skills
- Relevant industry qualification
- FSA Registration
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- An energetic and proactive approach
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible (i.e. ability to adapt to change/approach to work, ability to multi-task)
