2nd Line Support Analyst/Engineer

My client is a leading organisation who is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer / Analyst to join its infrastructure team on a permanent basis. This role is due to continued growth and they are now looking to recruit additional head count after demand from external clients.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills are below:

• Resolving complex server issues escalated by departments
• Troubleshooting problems.
• Providing support to client's infrastructures and maintaining high availability
• Ensuring clients are updated on current status of issues
• Documenting troubleshooting carried out
• Ensure all changes are documented through the change management process
• Execute change management
• Strong 2rd/3rdline troubleshooting and problem management
• Excellent high level Microsoft 2003/8 enterprise windows.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP
• In-depth troubleshooting of IIS 6.0 / 7.0 and/or Microsoft Clustering
• Strong Exchange 2003/2007
