This is a Second Shift Position
1. Assembly and testing of aerospace equipment.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
3. Follow quality testing and inspect parts using precision gauges and measuring instruments and equipment.
4. Performs a wide variety of electronic and/or mechanical assembly and testing operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Ability to focus on safety and quality is extremely important.
5. Must take ownership for accuracy of processes, meet quality goals, able to meet deadlines, work in a team environment, and be able to be self motivated.
6. Participate in continuous improvement events, audits, waste reduction, and cost goals.
7. Candidate will interface with cross functional teams and shifts to update, inform, and acknowledge business needs.

1. This is an entry-level position.
2. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Shop courses would be helpful in developing manual dexterity.
3. Understanding of manufacturing process procedures and how the processes affect the product. Demonstrate mechanical dexterity abilities.
4. Ability to read and precisely follow detailed written assembly instructions. Ability to write simple correspondences in a neat, organized manner. Technical aptitude.
5. Obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform job.
6. Work with little or no direction, recognizing schedule and quality needs.
7. Demonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices
8. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; convert fractions and decimals. Must be able to read small scales and measuring instruments.
9. Reports to a Operations Manager.
