2nd/3rd line support/Systems Engineer recruitment
2nd/3rd line support/Systems Engineer sought by leading financial services client based in the city of London.
Essential Job Functions
·Support and maintenance of the AD, Exchange (2007 - 2010), SQL, VMware, phone and network infrastructure (including out of hours monthly maintenance windows).
·Carry out daily and weekly monitoring of systems, taking pro-active measures to maintain the infrastructure.
·Competently locate and remediate root cause issues to address problem areas.
·Maintaining desktop/laptop hardware Software (including ghost images)
·Set up of new user accounts required hardware.
·Support of the companies printing infrastructure, including keeping consumables up to date.
·Give clients confidence in abilities and provide a positive 'face' for IT to our customers.
Job Specific Experience/Technical Skills/Abilities
Essential experience/skills
·Microsoft Server 2003/2008
·Microsoft Exchange (2007 preferable)
·Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 - general admin
·AD/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy
·Backup methodologies
·Experience of VMware vSphere and associated infrastructure
·Experience of managing a SAN environment
·BlackBerry Enterprise Server
·Microsoft Windows XPMS Office (preferably 2007 / 2010)
·General Print and Multifunctional device support
