Job Description:
Currently, we are seeking an Accounting Manager for an established Non Profit Organization in Playa Vista, CA. This is a temporary to hire position within the Accounting Department reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing a Jr. Accountant. Job duties will include preparation of journal entries, payroll entries, preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, monthly variance analysis, reconciliation of expense revenue accounts, reconciliation of monthly bank statements, preparation of audit schedules, maintaining fixed asset schedules, maintenance of accounting systems. BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business PREFERRED. Looking for 3+ years of corporate general ledger accounting experience and at least 1 year of non-profit, grant based accounting experience. Professional environment, business casual dress code, parking provided.
