Position Purpose: 
Working in concert with the District Vice President(s), the Business Development Manager is key to developing and enhancing relationships with financial advisors and planners in their assigned territory. The main responsibilities will be to:

1) Proactively market to secondary contact lists
including providing marketing and service support to targeted MFDA and IIROC licensed advisors; and
2) Support the District Vice President as a secondary reference point for primary contacts.

Key Accountabilities:
- Achievement of established sales targets
- Development of second tier client base
- Successful lead generation development
- Active involvement in the strategic planning process with the District Vice President

Knowledge / Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in investment sales.
- Strong business development and entrepreneurial skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
- University Degree, preferably in Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field
- Canadian Securities Course
- Have or working towards a financial designation: CFA, CFP, CIM, FMA, FCSI, PFP
