3D CAD Designer
Design Tech Homes, a custom homebuilder in Spring, TX, celebrating 15 years in business, is looking for an experienced 3D Custom Residential CAD Designer. Our qualified candidate will draft all phases of our custom home plans. This position will also be responsible for checking our home plans that ensures the product meets the specifications of the agreement between Design Tech Homes and their customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Development of 3D single-family architectural plans.
- Work with New Home Sales Consultants to create custom home plans.
- Review community codes and requirements to make sure all architectural plans are compliant in order to obtain permits.
- Develop details per drawing specifics.
Seeking Individuals With:
- Knowledge of 3D: AutoCad Architecture or Architecture desktop (ADT) or VisionRez, or SketchUp is a must.
- College or technical degree in Architectural design.
- Minimum 2 years working experience with residential plans and construction.
- Knowledge of residential construction plans and drawings.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a deadline sensitive environment.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, flex between projects and work accurately under pressure.
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
