3RD LINE INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST
My client, based in Uxbridge is currently looking to hire on a permanent basis a 3rd Line Infrastructure Analyst. Support Manage the Microsoft Wintel, Red Hat, Citrix, VMWare Infrastructure and associated Microsoft solutions (AD, Exchange, IIS etc) installed primarily in the EMEA Data Centre. This position provides support for the current installations in EMEA whilst performing deployment tasks such as hardware and software installations, patch upgrades, standard infrastructure application deployments/support (ePO/McAfee, Citrix, TSM etc).
• Citrix qualification desirable
• VMWare qualification desirable
• Microsoft qualification(s) desirable
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience in installing and supporting all Microsoft Server Operating systems 2000, 2003 2008.
• Proven experience in installing and supporting VMWare systems.
• Proven experience in installing and supporting Infrastructure applications such as Microsoft Active Directory, NT4 Domains, DNS, WINS, McAfee ePO/Antivirus, TSM Backup and Restore client
• Proven experience in installing and supporting Microsoft application environments such as Exchange, IIS, ISA etc
• Experience in supporting Citrix environments and some experience in designing and implementing Citrix environments is desirable.
• Some experience in scripting (e.g. ) is desirable.
• Some experience in the operation and management of LAN, Load Balancing and Firewalls is desirable
