IT Operations Manager required for a leading Asset Management organisation based in London. The role will involve leading and managing a team of 3rd Line Technical Support Analysts and providing an infrastructure-based operations production set of quality services. The client is looking for someone with the ability to move the function forward and influence change.

Ideally this role suits someone who has a solid technical background who has progressed into a managerial role within financial services looking after technical services, teams, engineers. This role needs someone who understands both the business as usual aspects of providing the Ops services, as well as the need for capacity planning, and working with projects to forecast growth and impact to the Operations processes and facilities.

Salary - up to £70,000 per annum + excellent benefits and bonus

Role responsibilities -

*Team meetings
*Liaising with stakeholders (IT Security; Operational Risk; Business Continuity; Facilities; Programme and Project Managers; Software Development; Business Project Group; and Project Team)
*Coordinate with Project Managers, the Service Desk Manager and IT facilities
*Ensure the 3rd line team maintain customer focus
*Own all operations processes
*KPI'S
*Point of escalation for 3rd Line technical support
*Problem management process
*Capacity management process
*Handover of Ops process
*Key stakeholder for Change Management process

The role is currently directly managing a team of 5 3rd Line technical support analysts and this number is likely to grow.

Role requirements -

*ITIL - Mandatory
*Background as an IT Operations Manager within financial services
*Technical background supporting and operating technical solutions including support of Servers, Desktops, Operating Systems and Applications
*Strong 3rd Line Support ability
