3rd Line Support Professional Job in Cheltenham, South West UK

My client is now looking to bring on board an experienced 3rd Line Support professional to provide technical support to company clients, as well being involved with company projects.

This position would be split between providing 3rd line support as part of the IT Support team, as well as handling project work from design through to implementation.

Main Responsibilities:
• 3rd Line Service Desk Support
• Project work – design to implementation
• Remote / On-site technical support
• Maintaining internal IT infrastructure

Ideally you will have 3 years experience in a 3rd Line Support / Project Consultancy role, and will have technical experience in the following:
• Windows Server 2000-2011 (Including small business server)
• Windows Server Migrations
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Exposure to SQL 200-2008
• Exposure to NAS/SAN devices
• Good knowledge of VMware or XenServer

Any industry certifications would be desirable but not essential – MCSE/MCSA / CCNA for example

You will also be an excellent communicator, with a strong customer focus.
