3rd Shift Sterilization Supervisor Job in Jessup 18434, Pennsylvania US
1. Supervises, leads and provides coaching to all sterilization personnel.
2. Provides support with the growth and development of sterilization department personnel.
3. Maintains tracks and verifies the accuracy of all forms used in the sterilization department.
4. Will continually identify non valued added tasks and process improvements in an effort to streamline processes to meet continuous improvement plan.
5. Acts as the liaison between sterilization, processing and supporting departments for organizational effectiveness.
6. Coordinates services for autoclave equipment to maintain efficient operations that support production requirements.
7. Provide and or delegate on the job training for sterile technicians.
8. Support in-service training programs with staff at direction of manager.
9. Perform all sterilization functions within the sterilization department.
10. Conduct staff observations and monthly reviews within the sterilization department. Follow up with staff to improve overall efficiencies and growth of staff and processes.
11. Serve on internal committee’s that affect departmental outcomes. Communicate and implement changes that may result from committee findings.
12. Provide representation at directive of manager during departmental audits conducted by internal and external agencies.
13. Documentation of daily production activities associated with Sterilization functions for key metrics that aide in process and capacity planning.
14. Conduct standard and corrective action training processes.
15. Conduct performance/merit reviews with staff.
16. Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
