(50+ POSITIONS AVAILABLE) Indirect Spend – Strategic Sourcing / Procurement Manager recruitment

My client is a global MNC that is transitioning its global procurement function to Singapore. Their present spans over 50 countries, with businesses across various areas of financial services. 

Approximately 50-100 strategic sourcing professionals (indirect spend only) across different categories will be hired from out of Singapore to support the group's global procurement function. Available roles range from Analyst, Assistant Vice President (AVP) to Vice President (VP). All roles will start out as 6-month contracts. Permanent hires and contract extension will be subject to individual performance and availability.  

These are the categories presently required: 

CATEGORIES 

1. Professional Services: Legal, consultancy, retail banking / credit cards services support, terminals, ATM, plastic cards, printing, mail, logistics, cash-in-transit (security services), business process outsourcing (BPO such as outsourced call centres, debt collection), and insurance 

2. Technology/ICT: IT hardware, software, telecommunications 

3. Corporate Serivces: Facilities management, corporate real estate services, HR services (recruitment training)  

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Primary Responsibilities (90%)

- Be specialists in the area of category management chosen from a procurement perspective

- End-to-end procurement including picking up deals from the start, handling them mid-term, or executing deals for which supplier agreements are already put in place

- Where required, issue RFI/RFPs, evaluate supplier responses, analyse proposals analysis, negotiate contracts, shortlist vendors, and put into place contracts

- Support global business partners and internal stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to the Bank's procurement processes and policies, approval of spends, and sign-offs 

Secondary Responsibilities (10%)

- Depending on the seniority of the role, facilitate Order-to-Pay process, the processing of invoices/payments (most of which is already outsourced)
