analytical Chemist/Scientists will support Henkel's market leadership in adhesives, sealants and surface treatment by providing accurate and timely analytical chemistry services to external customers, Henkel technical service employees and RD groups.
Responsibilities:
1. Support Henkel's market leadership by providing accurate and timely analytical chemistry services to customers, technical service groups, manufacturing facilities, research and development groups, legal and regulatory affairs functions.
2. Maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge of organic analytical chemistry techniques and productivity tools to continuously improve group productivity and capability.
3. Write and present technical reports and make oral presentations to management, customers and technical societies.
4. Identify opportunities for technological innovation and initiate action as appropriate to maintain a competitive advantage.
Requirements:
* M.S. or Ph.D. in Analytical or Organic Chemistry with strength in method development and validation.
* Experience in use of and method development for GC, ICP, HPLC, GPC, GC/LC-MS and FTIR instrumental techniques.
* Experience with ISO/TS 17025 implementation.
* Experience in wet chemical analyses (titrations, gravimetric methods, extractions, etc.)
* Expertise with computer instrument control and data systems.
* Excellent teamwork capabilities.
* Potential management skills and temperament.
* Effective written and oral communication skills required.
