6 Months Contract- Cost Recharge & Intercompany recruitment

Job Description

1)Involved in setup and maintenance of a new intercompany recharging process.

2)Owner of the process and workflow to support this process.

3)Ensure necessary controls are in place for all processes established.

Key Roles Responsibilities

•  Intercompany Recharging workflow deliverables: Assist to establish a new intercompany recharging process. This will require a familiarity with Access and SAP R3/BW.

•  Own this process and the transition to a stable BAU platform. This will involve close interaction with Technology team, Legal Entity accountants and other stakeholders.

•  Month-end controls: perform monthly reconciliation of all postings for the process; follow up on outstanding balances and queries with finance owners

•  Provide monthly MI on intercompany charges to relevant owners; communicate and escalate to line manager on any outstanding queries..

•  Understand and review balances; understand and explain monthly variances

•  Coordinate with the interco payment team and the India settlement team regarding payment/billing instruction, intercompany settlement disputes, and any related settlement issues

Qualifications Skills

Technical / Process Knowledge

•  Functional knowledge: Past experience and knowledge about intercompany billing, settlement, reconciliation. Preferably knowledgeable about workflows and transfer pricing principles

•  System knowledge: Working knowledge in using SAP R/3 BW

•  Application: efficient in using MS applications, especially Access – must also be proficient in Excel.

•  Process skills and critical thinking: ability to look at end to end processes, identify issues, root causes and proactively implement improvement initiatives

•  Communication skills – able to articulate complex issues to senior stakeholders.

Control Experience

•  Process control focused. Ability to identify key risks and controls in an accounting processing workflow

•  Preferably understanding of intercompany reconciliation

Personal And Interpersonal Skills

•  Positive attitude and energy towards challenges

•  Communication skills – able to articulate complex issues to senior stakeholders. Confident and effective oral and written English communication with global senior clients

•  Ability to team work and collaborate with cross functional/regional teams

•  Qualified accountant with at least 3-5 years experience in accounting/Finance function. Preferably with past experience in a banking industry (not essential), Shared Services environment or multi-national company

•  Strong Access skills required.
