Stable company located right here in Anaheim is in urgent need of a Staff Accountant. Will be responsible for cost accounting related activities including but not limited to preparing monthly cost of goods sold analysis, determining cost of new products, managing inventory reserves and assist in month-end close process. Education Experience: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience 3+ years of Cost Accounting experience Experience in technology manufacturing environment Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint), must have knowledge of pivot tables and v-lookup Skilled in math applications and accounting formulations Duties Responsibilities: Complete manufacturing month-end close procedure Reconcile inventory and related accounts. Assist month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities Assist with budget process Prepare production variances and lead operations team in effort to reduce variances Determine costs of new products Review and analyze production orders; determine cause(s) for variances Perform regular Bill of Material (BOM) change reviews Complete journal entries and reconciliations accurately and timely If you have this experience please apply right now!!!!
