ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities for Production Manager include general operations of the department with minimal compounding duties. These tasks require communications between all departments. The Production Manager reconciles customers' requested delivery dates and production schedules with Customer Service, and resolves batch forecasts, raw material availability or staffing issues. The Production Manager works with the Logistics Manager to supply internal raw material needs and on inventory control to assure that finished goods ship on a first-in first-out basis. Quality Control and Regulatory / Compliance departments bring their concerns to the Production Manager. This position reports to the General Manager.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
A minimum of 5 years beverage industry production and management experience is required. Computer skills are required. Compounding ability is required. This position requires proven ability to manage production schedules, forecast, and manage inter-departmental relationships. Experience with food safety (i.e. GMP, HACCP) and industrial safety (Cal OSHA) programs is strongly recommended. Employee must have basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as the ability to weigh, measure, and convert amounts (gallons, ounces, fractions). High school diploma or GED completion is required, a college degree is preferred.. Employee must be able to speak and read English. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
